I am my father's daughter.
The other night, I was over at my parents' house for dinner. They've got a new big giant flat screen TV on one of the walls in the family room now, and, as our dining room table is in the family room (we're flexible about room purposes), we had the Science Channel on as we ate. Terrible thing to do, blah blah, but it's really a godsend as sometimes, with your family, you want to halt conversation.
Anyway. We were watching a show about how life would be on Earth if there was no moon. Things like how fucked up our days would be, how we'd all be short and scaly, etc. And we get through the whole thing, with all the scientists weighing in on the issue and footage of tsunamis, and stuff...and my dad, at the end of it, goes to me:
"You know what they forgot to mention, what the biggest impact would be?"
And I go, without skipping a beat, "Werewolves."
"Yes."
